Sunday, Mar. 17th 2013 1:27 PM

Having good dental hygiene during pregnancy is one sure way to avoid gm and tooth pain.  Make sure to use a soft bristle toothbrush and gently clean your teeth and gums after every meal.

If your teeth are more sensitive during your pregnancy you can use  toothpaste specifically designed to combat sensitivity. Do not forget to floss your teeth daily, and cut down on the sugary food and drinks.  You may also want to chew gum that contains xylitol, an ingredient that reduces the bacteria that causes tooth decay. It should go without saying but make sure you see your dentist regularly even during y our pregnancy
