Teenagers Dental Health Care

* Dental Appointments. It is best suggested that teens should see a dentist at least twice a year, unless otherwise specified by their dentist.

* At Home Dental Habits: You will want to make sure your teen Brushes their teeth after breakfast and before bed time with fluoride toothpaste, and that he/she floss daily.

* Healthy Snacking: Did you know that the average teen eats about nine times a day, so snacking on healthy foods is essential.

* Mouth/Tongue Piercings: Avoid letting your teen get piercings of the tongue, lip and cheek. They increase the risk of infection, cracked or chipped teeth, soft tissue damage and choking if jewelry becomes unfastened.
