Pain from wisdom teeth

Should wisdom teeth that are coming in cause me pain?

I am three months pregnant and now my wisdom teeth decide to cut though.  My mouth is sore and I am just wondering should they be making my jaw and gums a bit sore while they brake though?  I think because I am pregnant that there is not much a dentist can do about my wisdom teeth.  So I am wondering how long should this soreness last?
