18 kids and counting?

As I flip channels on my TV  since once again I am up and can not seem to go to sleep.  I catch a repeat of John and Kate plus 8.  I start to watch a little of it knowing know how they are in split ville now. I  wonder why people loved them so  much before,  but now seem  to hate them that they are splitting up.  I hear stuff about how they used their kids to become rich off the TV show.  Funny thing I only hear that now that they are braking up.  No one seem to mind before the brake up. They had a number one rated show for what they were doing.?  Now they have too many kids?

The thing is as I am watching this repeat,  commercials  for 18 and counting come on and a new show for the 12 of us.  It seems like we can not get enough show with people that have in my opinion way to many kids.

When that lady I forget her name but when she had 8 kids we wanted to hang her from the nearest tree.  People had a cow when there was talks about her getting her own TV show.  Tell me what is the difference?  Was it only because she was not married?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.  I am really with the opinion that as long as I am not paying for their kids out of my taxes I am okay with how many kids they have.  But is it coming to  the point that we will just have a ton of kids to have our own TV show?
