Teething help needed

I am not sure if this is teething

I breastfeed my six month old son.  He is now kinda  of biting me more then anything.  I mean once I get him settle he nurses but he is biting when he never did that before.  He also biting on his toys and sucks and bites on his hands too.  He is drooling  a lot.
I think he may be teething but I see not teeth yet and he is not cranky or in any pain.  So I am not sure.  Any one know?  How can I tell if it is just teething?
