Baby Dental, My teeth are yellowish.

Sunday, Sep. 7th 2014 8:25 AM

Question: I am a mom of two young children and I am tired of my yellowish looking teeth.  I do not smoke and I take proper care of my teeth at home.  is there any do it yourself treatments I can use to whiten my teeth?

Answer: Adult teeth are not naturally bright white. That is important to understand since so many people try and get their teeth to a fake looking white color. Your natural tooth coloring can very from off white to yellowish white. The color of your teeth may be their natural color. If it is the case, there is no DIY treatments that will change the natural color of your teeth.

I would suggest talking to your dentist. A dentist will be able to give you different options in whitening your teeth. If you want to try over the counter whitening strips then make sure you follow the instructions and do not over use the product in order to whiten you teeth faster as it will damage your tooth enamel.
