Baby Dental – Loose Adult Tooth

Saturday, Nov. 30th 2019 6:30 AM

Question: My son permanent tooth came in but now seems to be loose. I have no clue as to why it should be loose. My son is eight and he as never had any cavities, and take him to see the dentist twice a year.

So I am upset that his new adult tooth seems loose. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I am going to make dental appointment but I am so distressed by this. I would love to hear to feed back from others who may have experienced this with their child before.

Reply: I would advise not to get up set about things until you know what you are dealing with. Taking your son to see the dentist is a good idea. Until the dentist can advise what is going on with your son’s tooth, there is not much to do. Being upset or making yourself upset over things does not change any of the facts.

You if are worried about the tooth until your child see a dentist have son eat soft foods so not to make it any looser.
