I would like to know if there is anywhere I can go or get a list of baby products that have been recalled with in the last year or so.   I will be having my baby in the next few months and I want to be able to know ahead of time about what baby products I should stay away from.

I am also having to register for my baby shower that my mom is throwing for me.  I know the things that I would like to have and need for my baby but want to stay away from brands or products that have too many recalls.   Where would I go for this type of information.?

I will be a first time mom in about four months.  My friend is going to give me my baby shower and it is exciting and every thing but  she is telling me I need to register for the shower gifts.   That people like to know that what they are buying is what I want for the baby.  I understand that but I just really at a lost and feeling a little overwhelmed.

I have no clue as to want to ask for.  I am kind of on my own in this.  My boyfriend is no help and my mom just says it is up to me.  I do not want to ask for stuff that is too expensive but then I am told to put a few on the list.   So I need help.  What are some of the things I should be registering for the shower list.  Oh and if it help I will be registering at Babies R Us.

My daughter will be almost ten months old and I want to do up Easter for her.  She love opening up stuff and finding things. I know she is only nine months old and some people will say that they do not care about any Holidays at that age but I still want her to have a really good Easter.

What are some cool things that I should get for her.  Since candy or eggs are out of the questions.  I would like cool Easter Basket ides so she will be able to go though the stuff in the basket all at once.

What do you think about getting knitted baby clothes from your friends or family?  My friend will be having her baby shower in about three weeks from now.  I have been knitting her son to be baby cloths.

I am very good at knitting so it will not look junkie.   The problem is I have two other people that stated that they hate when they get home made gifts.  Something about being cheep.  Well I do not have a lot of money to spend.  However the yarn that I have is not  cheep since I got it a while back ago. So I guess my question is for a baby home made gifts are good right?

I have a almost two year old daughter and was wondering what people think over all about the baby Einstein products.  Goods and bads if any.  I have a hard time knowing what are really good for a baby to play with and learn from.  I am a signal mom so I want to make sure I am doing the best I can and getting the right products for her.

What are some good baby books for young boys that are three and four.  I have two boys and I read to them every day sometimes twice a day.  I would like to know what are some good boy books?  Something that is fun for their age but where a boy would really like it.   My boy like Winnie the Poo but looking for something new.  Let me know what books you  can suggest.

Christmas gift help needed

With Christmas near I have to start making my list and checking it twice.  Okay I am not Santa.  However I do feel like him around this time of year.  I am signal with no kids.  However,  my Christmas shopping does not stop with Adults.  I have many little kids on my list too.   From nieces to nephews and kids of friends.

As much as it is fun to give gifts to kids. It is the  knowing what is and what is not safe for them to have that  is the question.  I know that toys have ages on them just how much should one rely on ages listed?  Are there other tips that one can advise when looking for toy or gifts for kids around one – six years old?

Would like to set up a play date for my son

I am new to the town were I am currently at.  I move to GA for a very good job but I use to live in CA.  I have a two and a half year old boy.  At the day care were I take him to he seems to play with this other little boy.  They get along really well.   Since I have no friends yet, I do not know people with other little kids that my son can play with.

I was thinking about trying to set up a play date with this other little boy at the day care.  How do I go about that.  I have not yet met his mom since we work differnt hours.  I do not want to come off weird  but would like my son to have a freind outside of day care if possible.

How should I go about asking a play date.  Any ideas?

Looking for a good baby book.

My four friends and I all have children around  one and a half to three.  We said for Christmas this year we would get the babies a book each so that each child would get four new books.  I would like to find a book that is good at a young age but one that can still be in joyed for at least a few years.  Anyone know of such a book?  Your help would be welcome.

What is a pack and play system

Okay so I am going to be having my first baby in about two months.  Very exciting time to say the least.  My problem is that my mother in law is talking about how she is going to get me the pack and play system for my newborn and how much I am just going to love it.  I have no clue as to what the pack and play system is.

I do not want to tell her this and bring her excitement down so I say how nice that is going to be and thank her.  Can anyone tell me what it is?  If you have one what does it do and do you like it?
