when can you start feeding solid foods to your baby

At what month can you start feeding your baby on solid foods.

Right now I am only breast feeding my two month old son.  I know it is too soon now to introduce solid foods to him but at what age can I start?  What are some of the type of foods can I  introduce to his died?
