Shark teeth, what a pain that would be to floss.

Thursday, Feb. 25th 2010 12:59 PM

The fact is unlike sharks we do not get replacement teeth beyond our baby teeth.  That is why it is very important that we teach our children how to take care of their teeth now.  Children that learn how to take correct care of their baby teeth will normally take care of their adult teeth.

Teaching your child how to brush and floss can be as easy showing by example.   Brush and floss your teeth with your child.   Brushing and flossing with your child can be made into a fun time instead of a chore.  Most young kids want to do what they see their parents do.

Not only will your children benefit from learning how to brush and floss their teeth correctly,  but you as their parent may benefit from having lower dental bills.  Just keep it fun, but keep it up.
