Dental Insurance for newborns.

I do not have dental benefits though my current job and I will be having my son in a few more months.  Is  there dental insurance I can get just for my son right now?  I do not have a lot of extra money so I only really need it for my son.   Also at what age should I get the dental insurance?  I am not sure when I should really worry about his dental care.   Out here in California.
