Baby Dental, Keeping your mouth clean after wisdom tooth extraction.

Wednesday, Aug. 23rd 2017 6:34 AM

After having your wisdom teeth extracted it is important to maintain good oral hygiene, since the best way to prevent infection is by keeping your mouth clean. You will want to clean your mouth after each meal beginning the day after surgery.

Make sure to brush your teeth with a soft bristle toothbrush after meals and at bedtime. Should bleeding resume after brushing, repeat the use of gauze as described by your dentist. Do not rinse your mouth the day of surgery.
