I am going to be a new mom and trying to learn everything I can while I can. My son will be born in about three months and I would love to know more about oral health care in babies and keeping healthy teeth.
This is important to me since my parents never really did anything for my teeth and I had very large dental bills when I got old enough to start taking care of my own dental costs. I do not want my so to feel the same way.

My daughter is just now starting to teeth and if the signs are there it looks like this is going to be a long few months to get though. She just so unhappy. She not sleeping and she is fussy all day long. She is eight months old so she is on the latter side for just now teething.
Teething rings only help a little and her doctor say this is normal and it is just something to get though the best you can. Any advise would be welcome.

My daughter is three week old and although she does not have teeth yet what should I be doing for her gums and baby teeth if anything now? I do wipe down the inside of her mouth after I done feeding her. As my doctor told me to do. But is there any pre teeth and gum care or do you just wait until her teeth come in to worry about them?

For the past few months I have been taking care of my sister’s 5 year daughter. As of right now this seems not to be changing any time soon. Before she came to live with me she did not even brush her teeth and said that her mom would only do so once in a while.
I want to take her to the dentist but I am worry that we are talking a large dental bill because if her teeth are not messed up from not brushing her gums probably are. Any way to get some dental help for her?

I need some help in finding the right dental insurance plan. I would really much like to find a low cost dental insurance plan that does not have all the waiting periods and other limitations that I been seeing on line. I willing to look at a dental discount plan but would love to have both choices instead of just feeling that is all I can afford to get.

I either need to take my son to a very low cost dental office or a least a dental office that would be willing to take a payment plan that I can afford to pay. Or I would be willing to get a dental plan if it too is low in cost and will make taking my five year old boy to the dentist. Can not afford much but I know he is past due on his dental visit

I know this question may have been asked before but I asking it any way. When should your child first see a dentist? I read so many different opinions about this and have some friends that say when a baby first cuts their teeth and other that say that is not necessary and before they get into Kindergarten is fine.
Many dentist in my area will not see childrend under four or five. So an older age does sould likely. I know what I am still asking for are opinions but I would really like to hear some more feed back on this topic.

Getting a dental insurance plan that is low cost so that my son who is six can have two filling done. I do not have much time to be on line and I do not want to take all day looking for plans. Can you advise what is your lowest cost plan that will let my son get his two filling done?

I am three months pregnant and I was just thinking if there are there any vitamin or extra nutrient I can possibly have that reduce the odds of my baby having bad teeth?
I am asking because my husband always have problems with is teeth brake and chipping due to him having brittle teeth and bad tooth enamel. My husband dad’s teeth where the same way and even my husband brother has bad teeth though not as bad as my husbands.
Am I worrying too much? But if there is anything I an do to help prevent my child from having bad teeth then I want to do that.
