Baby growing pains

Sunday, Mar. 14th 2010 7:45 AM

My son is going on seven months and is having some growing spurts.  He has been cranky and upset he wakes up very easly.  I talk to his doctor and she said it is very normal that when a baby goes though growing pains they their behavor is much like teething.  Just to be there for him at least it does not last long.  However I have notice that when he has these spurts he also does not seem to want to nurse as much.  Is this normal?  If so is there anything I can do to help him relax more and not be so cranky?
