Baby dental care and yellow baby teeth.

I am not sure why but I just notice not that long ago that my seven year old has yellow baby teeth.  I do not recall them being yellow before now.  I do make him brush his teeth twice a day and I floss them at night still since he his not flossing correctly yet.  However now I worried that he is not brushing well either.  Should I take him to see the dentist or just try changing toothpaste for right now.
