Seven percent of U.S. Chirdren 17 and younger had dental needs that went unmet in 2010 becaue their families couldn’t afford their dental care.  According to the National Center for Health Statistics in an analysis of data collected by U.S. Census Bureau interviewers and reported in the Vital and Health Statistics series
