Baby Dental, My Child Braces Hurt

Friday, Jan. 3rd 2014 9:25 AM

My son just got his first adjustment on his braces. Before the adjustment he was fine but after it he started to complain about his teeth hurting him. He says the Advile is not helping. Is this normal or should I take him back to his orthodontic dentist?

Answer: Being sore after an adjustment is normal, however the Advile should be helpping him.  You may want to wait and see how he feels in a day or two if he is still in pain then talk to his othdontic dentist and see what he or she suggests.
