When should babies start to eat real food

Sunday, Dec. 27th 2009 1:28 PM

Daughter is almost one

My daughter will be one 1/29/10.  I still breast feed and she does take forumal at times too.  Besides baby cereal and bananas I really can not get her to eat too much more then that.  She is at a health weigh and her doctor says she is a very healthy baby.  All goods, but am I trying to feed her food too soon?  Or is there other food that I can try to see if will eat it?  Advise is welcome.

My daughter started eating bananas and baby cereal at age one too. She really like fruits apples, oranges, melon and bananas. I could get her to eat mash potatoes and rice too.
