How do you ween a baby from useing a baby bottle

My son is a year old and will only sleep with a baby bottle

My son will not fall asleep at night or during his naps with out having a baby bottle.  I have tried using a pacifier but they do not work.  He wants to fall asleep feeding.  I tried to feed him before putting him down but he screams if I do not give him back the bottle.  How do I ween him off of the bottle?
