Teething question, What age did you child first started teething, what did you do for the teething pain

Tuesday, Jun. 8th 2010 7:00 AM

I can not believe that my son is already started teething at four months old.  My niece did not start teething until she was almost nine months old.  So I was not ready for my son to start at four months.  Is that normal?

Anyway the problem I am having is that he does not sit up yet and holding onto the teething ring is not working either unless I hold it for him,  but even then he does not seem to like it.   I think all the teething rings are just too big for him right now.  What can I do to help relieve the teething pain.    Oh by the way I have tried using Orajel but that does not really work for too long.
