My baby is teething and will not stop crying

Baby teething pain

My son is teething and is crying all the time.  My doctor said that he was just teething and it is something we will just have to get though.  Does anyone have any idea how to help him though this teething process. Any home remedies for a teething baby.  I really do not like using Orajel so some alternative to Orajel would be good.
