Baby Dental – Untreated cavities

Friday, Aug. 11th 2023 10:50 AM

When dental cavities go untreated, they can cause pain, making it hard to eat and speak. Pain from tooth decay can prevent a child from playing and learning. Studies show that children with dental problems miss more school and get lower grades than children without oral health problems. One can quickly see how untreated dental cavities can interfere with a child’s everyday life. At-home dental care habits and visiting a dentist twice a year will help avoid dental decay/cavities. That, combined with having insurance that provides free to low-cost preventive dental services, will make going to the dentist more affordable.
