Baby Dental Insurance Healthcare – Baby Teeth Oral Health Care

Friday, Nov. 13th 2020 9:55 AM

My son has stinky baby breath. It not terrible but I just wondering why. I take really good care of the few teeth he as since he is newly teething still. Is there something more I should be doing besides using a dental wipe after each feeding. Or is that just part of teething?

Reply: You may want to use a rubber finger brush to clean your son new baby teeth and gums. Sometimes I found that the wipes did not work all that well.

His bad breath may be from the smell of milk (if you are nursing) or the formula that you are feeding him. You can also use baby toothpaste that does not have flouride. Use just a smig but that my help his breath. If after trying that he still has stinky breath you may talk to his doctor.
