Baby Dental – Baby First Dental Appointment

Monday, Aug. 7th 2023 9:24 AM

What will happen at my son’s first dental appointment?

I will be taking my son to his first dental appointment. He is eighteen months old. I have been taking excellent care of his teeth, but it is time to take him to the dentist. I would like to know what to expect at his first dental appointment. What do they do?

Reply: Generally, at a baby’s first dental appointment. The dentist will mostly count the teeth he has. He will look to ensure they are coming in correctly and have no signs of tooth decay. Go over any concerns they may have and answer questions about your baby’s dental health care.
