When should a baby stop using a pacifier

Wednesday, Mar. 10th 2010 11:36 AM

I have a seven month old son and he really likes his pacifier.  Since his teeth have been starting to come in a little people are telling me to take away his pacifier.  He really loves it and cries when I take it from him I do not see why he can not have it.  Will a pacifier really make his teeth come in crooked? I want him to have his pacifier but I do not want him to have future problems with his teeth because I gave into him.   Advise please.
